Plowboys BBQ is competition-style barbecue with restaurants all over Kansas City and serving food at Arrowhead Stadium. Plowboys Barbeque began in 2001 and Todd Johns along with his brother-in-law, Randy Hinck, started Pork Pullin Plowboys. They competed for the next six years, traveling all over the country, perfecting their craft and learning how to cook truly great barbecue. Hint: It’s all about the “low and slow.” They would go on to Grand Champion Status at the American Royal and have won multiple first place awards there as well.
